• Kaoru enters high-school.
• 21. – Kaoru buys X Japan's major debut album BLUE BLOOD.

• 6. – Kaoru goes to his first live of X Japan at Kōsei Nenkin Kaikan in Osaka. It inspires him to learn playing guitar.

1990

• Kaoru forms his first band DIE:STERIA in his second year of high-school (starting in April) and performs on a stage for the first time at the high-school festival.

• Die enters high-school, where he watches a live of his senior's band at their high-school's culture festival and decides he also wants to be in a band.

1992

April

• Die, now in third year of high-school, joins the student council to be able to perform in his first band at this year's culture festival.
• DIE:STERIA breaks up around April, when Kaoru and the other band members graduate from high-school.
• Kaoru attends a vocational school for one semester, from April to September.
• Kyo joins ALBATROSS as a roadie around April, after completing compulsory education.

August

• Kyo sees an ad for Kuroyume's 中絶, released on July 20, in the ロッキンf magazine (likely the August issue).
• 29. – Kyo attends LUNA SEA's show at SPORTS VALLEY京都.

December

• 12. – Kyo attends Kuroyume's show at SPORTS VALLEY京都.

1993

• Kyo works as a roadie for Kuroyume four times at 寝屋川VINTAGE BAR. The possible dates are: March 13, June 20 and July 29, 30 and 31.
• During his first year of high-school, Shinya performs at a live house with his first band 人工天使 for the first time. The live house was most likely 枚方BLOW DOWN.

• Toshiya sees hide and TUSK on SHOXX #15 (March 1993) and is inspired to try on make-up.

May

• Die attends Eikichi Yazawa's show at 大阪厚生年金会館. The possible dates are: May 20, 21 and 22.
• 21. – Kyo hands out leaflets after a show of LUNA SEA at 京都会館.

October

• Toshiya and his friends form きさらぎ (Kisaragi) in the latter half of their second year in high-school.
• 23. – 月蝕 performs at SPORTS VALLEY京都.

• Sometime after February, CHARM forms.
