* 16.–18. – The ''Dir en grey EXPRESS PREFESTIVAL TOUR 1999'' takes place, a special event before the final live of the PSYCHONNECT tour. 800 fans were invited to spend three days with the band at the hotel Plaza Osaka. They were brought to the hotel via a designated Dir En Grey train, threw an early birthday party for Die at the hotel, watched the {{JP|脈|Myaku}} music video and participated in a talk event with the band and their staff. The fans also received a towel and an A3 poster as a present. On the third day, the fans were brought to the Osaka-jo Hall via bus, where they watched the band perform.
