• This song is probably the most famous example for Kyo's habit of changing the lyrics during live performances. The alternative version can be heard on the TOUR04 THE CODE OF VULGAR[ism] DVD, released on October 6, 2004. You can watch this performance here. There have been made many attempts at figuring out the lyrics of this version, for example here, here and here.
  • A studio version that is lyrically close to the live version was released on Dir En Grey's best-of album VESTIGE OF SCRATCHES.

• The translation was published in Kyo's poem book 「我葬の詩」下巻.
• After the second verse, Kyo speaks what appears to be two English lines that are not included in the official lyrics. The first sounds like "That face I see, I don't care", but the second is not intelligible.
