藍紫色, also mistakenly known as 愛紫色 (Ai Murasaki Iro), is one of Dir En Grey's oldest songs. It was never released in any form and only played live in 1997–98. Along with 刹那, 藍紫色 is one of the most famous indies songs by Dir En Grey.
The song had its debut as 新曲5 (Shinkyoku 5) ("New Song 5") on August 7, 1997. It was also mentioned in FOOL'S MATE #198 (April 1998), where Kyo explained that 新曲2 and 新曲5 were not finished yet and had yet to receive proper names. On May 5, 1998, when the song was performed as 藍紫色 for the first time, Kyo also announced it as such. The official website confirms that the song was played as late as November 2, 1998.[1] This was also the last performance of the song, there are ten confirmed performances in total.
You can listen to the October 28, 1997, performance of the song here.
