妄想格外劇 (Mōsō Kakugaigeki) is Dir En Grey's first documentary VHS. It was originally supposed to be released on September 23, 1998, but got postponed to October 7 for unknown reasons.
It consists of on- and off-stage footage of the band's indies days, with commentary by the members. Also included is a card with the band's line-up and a picture of each member. The other side lists their concert history and an advertisement and contact information for the fanclub. The advertisement is missing on the fanclub version.
