妄想格外劇 (Mōsō Kakugaigeki) is Dir En Grey's first documentary VHS. It was originally supposed to be released on September 23, 1998, but got postponed to October 7 for unknown reasons.
Consists of on- and off-stage footage of the band's indies days, with commentary by the members. Also included is a card with the band's line-up and a picture of each member. The other side lists their concert history and an advertisment and contact information for the fanclub. The advertisment is missing on the fanclub version.
The tracklist on the back of the case and the front of the VHS doesn't reflect the contents of the actual video. Furthermore, they're listed in two different orders for some reason.
