The Crystal Video Box version was released on December 15, 1997, via mail-order and on January 15, 1998, in stores. This version was limited to 10,000 copies, 2,000 mail-order and 8,000 store-sold. Both included extras such as a message CD that you can listen to here. The normal version was released on July 8, 1998.
There were also two promotional VHS released. The first one, 「楓」~if trans…~ TOUR 1998 Mechanism For Leave-the scene of the tragedy-, was released from February 21, 1998, the start of the tour with the same name, to the last day of the SHOCK WAVE'98 vol.1 ~春の嵐~ tour on April 5, 1998, and includes the PV for 業. It was only available for those who pre-ordered a ticket for either tour. You can watch the VHS here.
The second promotional version, called 「楓」~if trans…~ Mechanism For Leave-Unknown…Despair…a Lost- ~裁きの血舞台~, includes the PV for Unknown…Despair…a Lost and was released on May 5, 1998, during an event with the same name. Unlike the first promotional version, this one came with a cover and the song's lyrics on the back.

Trivia
- In an interview, Dir En Grey said that they personally folded and packed the boxes. If this includes the regular version as well is unclear. Shinya also said that he cut his finger in the process and blood got on some of the boxes.
- In his book 読弦 弐 (Dokugen Ni), Kaoru reveals that GARDEN was re-recorded for this VHS.
